Keith BrownKeith Brown

 

Keith has always been a sports fanatic and started his fitness life very early.  During high school and college he played football and baseball in where he was lucky enough to be selected as an all-conference North Coast Athletic Conference defensive end. He then graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in Physical Education in 1986 focusing on the philosophy of sport.

 

 


 

Personal Trainer & Racquetball Coach
After College he spent most of his life as a part time personal fitness trainer while having a successful career managing restaurant companies, always being active and helping others with their fitness.
 

He worked out of the Ridge Athletic Club in Braintree as a person trainer and racquetball coach.  As a member of the USRA (U.S. Racquetball Association) he spent much of his time playing racquetball where he became an avid ‘A’ level player in local tournaments across New England.  He also worked at the Rodman Athletic Club in Foxboro also as a personal trainer and a member of the APEX Nutrition team counseling clients on nutrition and supplementation.

 


 

 

Kenpo Karate & Kickboxing
From 1994-2004 Keith challenged himself in Kenpo Karate and kickboxing at the Circle of Martial Arts in Holbrook rising to the level of Brown Belt.  He also broadened his martial arts career working out of the Police Athletic League in Quincy under Jimmy Farrell and Sean Kreegan. He also is licensed by the state of Massachusetts to train boxers and kick boxers.

 


 

 

Certifications
After growing tired of the restaurant business in 2006 he joined his wife Cindy at Cynergy Training in Whitman and helped her grow Cynergy by utilizing the business knowledge acquired during his career.  He continues his personal training certifications with ACSM, USA Weightlifting Certified and is a CrossFit Level I personal trainer.
 

    

 


 

 

Training
He trains Cynergy CrossFit classes and aspires to share his healthy realizations with others through lectures, articles and presentations on how fitness training can enhance everyone's life and promote healthy lifestyles.
