Building Strength for Life: Cynergy’s Youth Program with Coaches Charlene & Scott Pifer

At Cynergy Training & Nutrition, youth athletes are learning that strength is about more than lifting weights — it’s about confidence, consistency, and a love for movement that lasts a lifetime.

Coaches Charlene and Scott Pifer have been leading Youth Strength & Conditioning since 2019. What started as a small off-season training group for their own kids and friends has now grown into a thriving program of 20+ young athletes per session, often with a waitlist to join.

“Coaching youth strength and conditioning has been so impactful for both of us,” says Charlene. “Kids are like sponges — they want to learn, they want to get stronger, and they’ve been exceptionally well-behaved! The best part has been watching them grow from 4th graders into high school athletes playing under those Friday night lights.”

The program focuses on proper form, foundational strength, and progressive training, creating a positive environment where kids gain physical and mental confidence. Many early participants are now the strongest students in their high school weight rooms — a testament to the value of starting young, learning the basics, and staying consistent.

Charlene and Scott agree:

“We love coaching this class and look forward to future generations building strength, resilience, and the confidence to do hard things. It’s a privilege to be trusted to work with your kids.”
